A2
Is designed for people who wish to become qualified workplace assessor for NVQ candidates (or candidates for similar qualifications). You will gain full understanding of the assessment process, a structured approach to carrying out and developing confidence in the role of assessing by observation.
V1
Is designed for qualified Assessors who wish to become Internal Verifiers. You will gain greater understanding of the knowledge and skills required in supporting and developing assessors, a structured approach to carrying out internal verification or moderation activities. In addition responsibility of ensuring quality and consistency of assessment decisions.
L20
Is designed for people who support members of staff who need to prove their competence at work by watching them, questioning them and advising them on any further development they require. This qualification does not qualify you to assess NVQ candidates.
Learning and Development Units
The units are for people whose role includes some learning design and support as well as direct training for individuals and groups. The awards are designed to be flexible and practitioners can choose between taking a unit route and being awarded Certificates of Unit Credit or completing a ‘Mini Award’ made up of 3 to 4 units.
NVQ in Business and Administration Level 1
This qualification is designed to reflect the work of administration staff across a wide range of industries and types of organisation and is for those who are working with a high degree of support and supervision. It is aimed at candidates who work as part of a team and ensure the provision of information and resources to others.
NVQ in Business and Administration Level 2
This qualification is designed to reflect the work of administration staff across a wide range of industries and types of organisation and is for those who are working with some autonomy and personal responsibility. It is aimed at candidates who work as part of a team and ensure the provision of information and resources to others.
NVQ in Business and Administration Level 3
This qualification is designed to reflect the work of administration staff across a wide range of industries and types of organisation and is for those who are working with a high degree of autonomy and personal responsibility. It is aimed at candidates who are involved in developing, implementing and maintaining administrative services for customers and clients.
NVQ Customer Service Levels 2 & 3
This qualification is for those who are in roles that carry a customer service specific job title and who may be in a designated Customer Service Department or Customer Call Centre. In other cases their job title may not be explicitly related to customer service (for example , Receptionist or Clerical Assistant) but still have primary responsibility in their role to deliver service to customers.
The qualification is also for those who may not see customer service as the primary responsibility of their role but who recognise that, in the competitive or service-driven environment in which they and their organisation have to work, well developed customer service competences are essential to complement technical skills.
